Engage Help
Elev8or Engage help center
Set up comment-to-DM automation, troubleshoot flows, and get support.
This is the support side of Elev8or Engage: connecting an Instagram account, building your first comment-to-DM flow, understanding send limits, and working out why a message did not go out. Most setup problems trace back to three things, and they are worth checking before anything else. The Instagram account has to be a professional account, it has to be linked to a Facebook Page, and the person you are messaging has to have interacted with you first.
Once a flow is live, the questions change shape. Sends stop instead of failing loudly, a keyword matches more comments than you expected, or replies land in the message requests folder instead of the primary inbox. The articles below cover each of those with the actual cause rather than a generic retry, so you can tell a permission problem apart from a rate limit apart from a keyword that is simply too common.
Billing, plan limits, and account questions live in the main Elev8or help center. Anything that needs a human, especially something tied to a specific automation or a specific message that failed, should go to support with the flow name attached so we can look at the send log rather than guess.

Frequently asked questions
- Why is my Instagram account not connecting?
- Engage needs a professional account, either Creator or Business, linked to a Facebook Page, with messaging permissions granted during the connect step. If any of those is missing the connection completes but no messages can send.
- Why did my automation not send a DM?
- The three common causes are that the commenter has never interacted with your account before, the keyword did not match exactly, or you hit the hourly send limit. The send log on the flow shows which one applied.
- How fast does a DM go out after a comment?
- Usually within a few seconds. Instagram delivers the comment webhook on its own schedule, so occasional delays of a minute or two are normal and not a fault in the flow.
- Can I run more than one automation on the same post?
- Yes, as long as the keywords do not overlap. If two flows match the same comment, the one created first wins and the second is skipped.
- How do I get help with a specific message?
- Contact support with the flow name and the approximate time of the comment. That lets us pull the exact send record instead of reproducing it from scratch.
