The Creator Rewards Program replaced the old TikTok Creator Fund and pays roughly $0.40 to $1.00 per 1,000 qualified views. That is 20 to 30 times the old Creator Fund rate, which is why almost every guide quotes the range. The problem is that the range alone tells you nothing about your account.

Two creators with identical view counts can earn amounts that differ by 4x. Market, niche, and how much of your catalogue runs past a minute all move the number. The calculator above applies those three factors instead of handing you a flat average.

RPM is what you earn per 1,000 qualified views. These are the working benchmarks by market for 2026.

Niche moves the same number again. Finance, business, and tech audiences carry the highest advertiser demand, so RPMs there run 15 to 30 percent above the market baseline. Entertainment and gaming sit below it.

This is the gap that makes creators think TikTok shorted them. Your analytics screen shows total views. Creator Rewards pays on qualified views only, and a view has to clear several bars to count.

• The video has to be longer than one minute. Nothing shorter earns a cent.
• The viewer has to stay past the first few seconds. Scroll-past views are dropped.
• The content has to be original. Duets, stitches, reposts, and heavily recycled clips are excluded.
• Views from ineligible markets do not count toward your payout.

In practice, creators report roughly half of raw views on qualifying videos clear the bar. The calculator uses that ratio, which is why a 1 million view month rarely pays the headline number.

You need all of the following before TikTok will let you enrol:

• At least 10,000 followers.
• At least 100,000 video views in the last 30 days.
• 18 years or older.
• A personal account, not a business account.
• An account based in an eligible market, currently the US, UK, Germany, France, Japan, South Korea, and Brazil.
• A clean record against Community Guidelines.

The 100,000 views bar is a rolling 30-day window, so an account that drops off the algorithm can lose eligibility even after being accepted.

Creator Rewards is a floor, not a salary. At a million views a month it covers a phone bill. Brand deals at the same audience size pay several thousand per video, which is why most full-time creators treat rewards income as the smallest line on the sheet.

The legacy Creator Fund paid $0.02 to $0.04 per 1,000 views on any video length. Creator Rewards pays $0.40 to $1.00 but only on videos over a minute, and only on qualified views. For a creator who posts long-form, the switch is worth 10x or more. For a creator who lives on 15-second clips, the new program pays nothing at all.

That single rule is why some creators saw earnings collapse after the migration. The fix is content length, not posting volume.

• Push videos past 60 seconds deliberately. A 58-second cut earns zero.
• Optimise for watch time in the first 10 seconds, since dropped views are unqualified views.
• Move toward advertiser-heavy topics. Finance and business content earns a materially higher RPM than entertainment at the same view count.
• Grow the share of your audience in high-RPM markets. A US-weighted audience can pay double a Brazil-weighted one.
• Keep original. Stitches and duets are excluded from the qualified pool.
