Monetisation

What is Rate card?

A rate card is a creator’s published price list for deliverables, such as a reel, a set of stories, a UGC video, or usage rights, that brands use to budget partnerships.

A clear rate card speeds up deals and signals professionalism. Rates vary by platform, format, audience, and usage.

Creators often adjust rates as engagement and demand grow.

Rates should be quoted per deliverable and per usage term, not as a single number for a campaign. A reel that stays on the creator's grid is a different price from the same reel licensed for six months of paid ads, and bundling the two hides the fact that usage is where a large share of the value sits. Creators who separate the two on their rate card negotiate from a stronger position.
