What is Link in bio tool?
A link in bio tool is software that builds a single landing page holding all of your links, and often products and forms, so you can work around the one-link limit on social profiles like Instagram and TikTok.
You claim a username, add your links as stacked buttons, and paste that one URL into your social bios. Setup takes a couple of minutes and needs no domain or website builder. Linktree popularised the format in 2016; the category now runs from simple link lists to full creator storefronts.
The tools split into three groups. Link routers such as Linktree and Lnk.Bio organise links and count clicks. Creator storefronts such as Elev8or Bio and Stan add product blocks, checkout, email capture, and bookings so a follower can buy without leaving the page. Page builders such as Carrd give you design control but no native commerce, so selling means embedding a third-party cart.
The distinction matters most on mobile. Instagram and TikTok open bio links in their own in-app browser, and every redirect between the tap and the payment costs you a share of the people who were interested. If your bio page is where you sell, checkout on the page itself is the single feature that changes revenue.
