Set up your creator profile

What goes on your public profile, why each field matters to brands, and how your username and public page work.

Your profile is what a brand sees before it decides to message you. It is also a public page at elev8or.io/your-username, so it is indexed and shareable outside the platform.

Fields that actually change outcomes

FieldWhy it matters
Profile photoProfiles without one get skipped. Use a face, not a logo.
BioSay your niche, your format and who your audience is. Three sentences beats three paragraphs.
Niche and categoriesThis is the primary filter brands search on. Wrong categories means invisible.
Location and languagesBrands run region-targeted campaigns and filter hard on this.
Rates and servicesAn empty rate card removes you from budget-based searches.
Portfolio and past workProof beats claims. Add your best pieces, not all of them.
Connected channelsVerified reach. See Connect your channels.

Your username and public URL

  • Your public page lives at elev8or.io/your-username, so pick something you would put in a bio link.
  • Usernames are unique and checked as you type. Changing it later changes your public URL and breaks old links.
  • Set it in Profile settings.

Keep it current

Refresh your rates and portfolio every quarter. Stale rates cause awkward negotiations, and brands notice when your latest work is a year old.
