Notification and email preferences
Which emails you can turn off, which you cannot, and fixing Elev8or mail that lands in spam.

Fixing Elev8or mail in spam
Mark one message as "not spam" and add the sender to your contacts. Gmail learns from one correction. Do this before you conclude the emails are not being sent.
If you get no email at all, check that your account email is verified. Unverified addresses are not sent to.
Why some emails cannot be turned off
Notification settings control marketing and activity emails. They do not control transactional email, which is sent because something happened on your account that you need a record of: a password reset, a payout, a payment receipt, a change to your login method, or a legal notice. Those keep sending while the account is open, because switching them off would leave you without proof of a money movement.
If activity email feels too frequent, the usual cause is a busy campaign rather than the settings. Each application, message and revision request generates its own notification. Turning the category down to a daily digest keeps the information without the volume, and is a better first step than switching the category off entirely and missing a brand waiting on a reply.
Email arriving late or not at all is almost always a deliverability problem on the receiving end, not a sending one. Check spam, check that your provider is not filtering by rule, and add our sending domain to your address book. If it is still missing after that, contact support with the approximate time you expected the message so we can check the send log.
