Buying more credits
When to buy an add-on pack instead of upgrading, and how bought credits differ from plan credits.
If you run out mid-month, you have two options: buy an add-on pack, or upgrade the plan. They are not the same trade.

Running out twice in a row is an upgrade signal
Two add-on packs usually cost more than the tier above them, and the tier also lifts your other limits.
Where credits go
Every grant and every deduction is written to a ledger you can read on Plans and billing, with what each one was for. If a balance looks wrong, that history is the first place to check, and the thing to quote to support.
