Should I sign up as a creator or a brand?
The two account types, what each one unlocks, and what happens if you pick the wrong one.
Every Elev8or account is either a creator account or a brand account. You pick this once, right after signup, and it decides which side of the product you see.
| Creator | Brand | |
|---|---|---|
| Who it is for | Influencers, UGC creators, editors, freelancers | Companies, DTC stores, agencies, founders |
| Main job | Find deals, pitch, deliver content, get paid | Find creators, run campaigns, approve work, pay |
| Public page | A creator profile at elev8or.io/your-username | A brand profile creators can discover |
| Money direction | Money in, withdrawn to your bank, UPI or wallet | Money out, paid by card, UPI or net banking |
| Plans | Free, Creator Pro, Creator Elite | Free, Pro, Business, Enterprise |
What if I do both?
Some people are both, for example a creator who also runs a small brand. One account can only be one type, so create a second account with a different email for the other side.
Picking the type is a one-time choice
Account type is set during onboarding and cannot be self-served afterwards, because credits, profiles and billing are all tied to it. If you picked wrong on a brand new account, contact support before you add any data and we will reset it.
Until you pick, your account sits in a pending_selection state and most of the app is locked. Finish the choice at Select account type.
