How to find creators and influencers for your brand

Finding creators is not the hard part. Finding creators whose audience overlaps with the people who actually buy from you, and confirming that audience is real before money moves, is where most campaigns are won or lost. Discover exists for that. You can filter the creator list by platform, niche, audience size, location, language and rate, then look at engagement data on each profile rather than judging by follower count alone.

Follower count is the least useful number on a creator profile. A creator with 12,000 followers and a 6% engagement rate in a specific niche will usually outperform one with 200,000 followers and a 0.4% rate, and will cost a fraction as much. Micro-influencers in the 5,000 to 50,000 range tend to give the best return per rupee or dollar spent, which is why most of the creators here sit in that band.

UGC creators are a separate category and worth understanding before you brief anyone. A UGC creator produces content you run on your own channels and paid ads. They are hired for the footage, not for their audience, so audience size barely matters and the deliverable is a file rather than a post. If you need ad creative, filter for UGC and ignore follower counts entirely.

Once you have a shortlist, you can invite creators to a campaign directly from Discover. Payment is held by Elev8or until the work is delivered and approved, so neither side has to trust the other on a first collaboration. There are no agency fees on top, no retainer, and no minimum spend, which means a first test campaign can be one creator and one deliverable.

Discover is free to browse. You do not need a paid plan to search creators, read their profiles, or compare rates. Credits are only used when you take an action that costs us something, and the free plan covers enough to run a real first campaign end to end.

Frequently asked questions

Is it free to find creators on Elev8or?
Yes. Browsing and filtering creator profiles in Discover is free, and the free plan includes enough credits to run a first campaign without paying for a subscription.
How do I know a creator audience is real?
Each profile shows engagement data alongside follower counts. A low engagement rate relative to audience size, or engagement that spikes only on giveaway posts, is the usual sign of bought followers.
What is the difference between a UGC creator and an influencer?
A UGC creator makes content for you to publish on your own channels and ads, so their audience does not matter. An influencer publishes to their own audience, so audience quality is the whole point.
How much do creators charge?
Rates vary by platform, niche and audience size. Micro-influencers commonly sit in the low hundreds per deliverable, and creator profiles show indicative rates so you can filter before you reach out.
How does payment work?
You fund the collaboration at checkout and Elev8or holds the money until the work is delivered and you approve it. The creator is paid on approval, and there are no agency fees added on top.
Do I have to sign a contract or commit to a minimum spend?
No. There is no contract, no retainer and no minimum. A first campaign can be a single creator and a single deliverable.
