Elev8or compared Linktree and Stan Store, and the split is simple: pick Linktree if your page mostly routes traffic or you want the cheapest way to sell simple products, pick Stan Store if you need a course builder, booking and upsells. Linktree Pro is $14 a month annually with 0% seller fees, and Free reportedly takes 12%. Stan Store costs $29 to $99 a month and takes 0%.

What each tool actually is
Linktree is a link page first. The free plan gives you unlimited basic links and email and phone sign-ups, and selling is something you can switch on. Stan Store is a storefront first. It is a single page whose job is to sell your course, coaching call, template or membership, and it has no free tier.
That difference decides most of the comparison. Linktree is built for people with a lot of places to send traffic. Stan Store is built for people with a few things to sell. Our deeper write-ups cover each on its own: Linktree pricing and the Stan Store review.
Cost: where the flat fee beats the percentage
Linktree's pricing page lists 0% fees on Pro and Premium and does not publish the Free and Starter fees. Third-party guides report 12% on Free and 9% on Starter, which the table uses. Linktree's FAQ also says it charges $0.25 per payout. Stan Store charges 0% but costs $29 a month on Creator ($25 a month if you pay $300 up front for the year). Both pass through Stripe or PayPal processing. These are the platform costs, excluding processing.
| Monthly sales | Linktree Free | Linktree Starter | Linktree Pro | Stan Creator |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| $100 | $12 | $16 | $14 | $25 |
| $500 | $60 | $52 | $14 | $25 |
| $1,000 | $120 | $97 | $14 | $25 |
| $3,000 | $360 | $277 | $14 | $25 |
- Under about $117 a month in sales, Linktree Free is the cheapest of the four. At $100 it costs $12 against Pro's $14 and Stan's $25.
- Above about $117 a month ($14 divided by 12%), Linktree Pro is the cheapest, at any volume, since its listed fee is 0% and it costs $11 a month less than Stan Creator on annual billing ($14 against $25), or $12 less on monthly billing ($17 against $29).
- Stan Creator beats Linktree Free and Starter on cost above roughly $208 a month against Free ($25 divided by 12%) and $200 against Starter ($18 gap divided by 9%). On monthly billing the Free break-even is about $242 ($29 divided by 12%).
- Linktree Premium also lists 0% fees and costs $30 a month annually, within $5 of Stan Creator. Against either Linktree paid plan, the choice is features, not fees.
One caveat on Linktree. Its Pro pricing card reads "Sell and earn with 0% fees", but its pricing page also says transaction and processing fees may apply. Check the fee screen in your own account before you price a product.
Features: where Stan Store wins
Per Stan's own pricing page, Creator at $29 includes call and meeting scheduling, an unlimited online course builder, recurring subscriptions, lead magnets and email collection, community creation and AutoDM for Instagram replies. Creator Pro at $99 adds discount codes and limited-quantity offers, upsells and order bumps, Afterpay and Klarna, affiliate management, email broadcasts and flows, and pixel tracking for Meta, Google, Pinterest and TikTok.
If your income is a course, a coaching calendar or a membership, that is the toolkit. Linktree can take payment for a product, but its pricing material lists no course builder or upsell tools.
Features: where Linktree wins
- A real free plan. Stan Store has a 14-day trial and then $29. Linktree Free never expires.
- Link-heavy pages. If you send traffic to ten places, Linktree's layout and recognisability are hard to beat.
- Setup speed. A link page takes minutes, a store takes an afternoon of product setup.
- Cost. Linktree Pro at $14 a month annually with listed 0% fees undercuts Stan Creator at $25, and Free costs nothing under about $117 a month in sales.
Who should pick Linktree
- Creators whose income is sponsorships, affiliate links or ad revenue, not product sales.
- Anyone selling simple products who wants the lowest platform cost: Free to test, Pro once sales pass about $117 a month.
- Brand and team accounts where a recognised name matters more than checkout.
Who should pick Stan Store
- Course creators, coaches and consultants whose page is the sales funnel.
- Sellers whose offer needs a course builder, booking and recurring subscriptions, which Linktree does not list. Stan wins on features, not on fees.
- Sellers who need order bumps, upsells, booking and email flows in one place.
A third option: Elev8or Bio
If neither fits, Elev8or Bio has a free plan with unlimited links and up to 3 products. Selling carries a platform fee of 9% on Free, 5% on Pro ($9 a month, $90 a year) and 0% on Elite ($25 a month, $250 a year), plus 5% payment processing on every plan. Pro allows up to 25 products and Elite unlimited. It also generates a media kit and connects to a marketplace of paid brand campaigns, which neither Linktree nor Stan Store does. It does not match Stan's course delivery depth. See the Linktree comparison and the Stan Store comparison for detail.
